Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Abdul Aziz Bin Salman said that his country will act smarter in its relations with the United States. According to the news in Sputnik; Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative summit, the Saudi Minister said about the worsening in Washington-Riyadh relations, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has decided to be more mature in this regard.”
Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman said: “As Saudis, we have the decency to speak face to face and not turn our backs on anyone. It is our belief that Saudi Arabia is the safest and most reliable country in terms of oil supply. The Kingdom will be a reliable supplier of oil to anyone who requests it from us,” he added.
Despite the US demand to increase oil production, which wants to help the European Union reduce its dependence on Russian oil, OPEC+, led by Saudi Arabia, decided to cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day.
