Saudi Arabia announced that those who come for tourism and visit purposes can perform Umrah as long as they stay in the country. In a written statement made by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, it was emphasized that the decision was taken within the framework of facilitating the procedures of those who came to perform Umrah visits with the start of this year’s Umrah season, in line with the targets of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision. It was stated that the decision in question is part of the efforts to provide all services at a high quality and to enrich the cultural and religious experience of the Ummah.
In the statement, it was stated that citizens of countries who can obtain a visa from any airport in Saudi Arabia, as well as holders of US, UK and Schengen visas, who have an entry stamp in their passports, can easily perform Umrah, provided that it is only once. In addition, it was stated that those who get a visa for family visit and personal visit can make an appointment through the “Umrah” application and apply to the unified national visa platform, while visiting their relatives and friends in Saudi Arabia.
