TEFEBAŞI: It is the heaviest and most valuable of Kütahya wedding dresses. In the past, handloom weaving from Iran was embroidered with silver thread dipped in gold water on soft wool fabric like silk by hand and embroidery work. Nowadays, it is a heavy fabric enriched with sequins and knurling by embroidering with silk yellow, white twisting and cutting flat wires on canfes and fine woolen fabric. Tefebaşı team is of two types. 1-Tefe head is a long dress on a red shirt, 2-Tefebasi salwar is a fermene on a red shirt. Usually red or cyan blue fabric is used. It is embroidered with silk thread. Silk flowers and branches are made between them. Serape embroidered tefebaşı is embroidered in a style called haren. The embroideries are symmetrical by forming obliques. There are flat lace laces made of brocade or silk on the edges. Tefebaşı fermenesi is heavy and magnificent, purple and red are preferred as the color of the fabric. The embroidery is done by circulating the silver thread, which is called cast iron, throughout the whole fermenter without cutting it. Tefebaşı dress is long, open in the front, with slits up to two side knees, the sleeve covers are wide and extends over the hand. Çintiyani is an entari shalwar. She wears an inward shirt. When worn with the bride’s head, it becomes the bride’s dress. The aunt’s aunt wears Tefebaşı with a grained head and three skirts, and the aunt’s aunt wears a baggy suit. The Bride’s Head is covered with a conical cone-shaped cardboard headpiece with wire crimped crown crepe. The visible front part of the cap is embellished with diamonds. A rectangular red crepe cloth is gathered at the top of the conical fez and the other end is extended below the waist. There is a yellow wire breaking work on all the edges of the veil, tinsel hangs from both sides. A red shirt with wire creasing is worn on the front and armholes of the dress. PULLU: It is the second-degree bride and aunt’s dress among Kütahya wedding dresses and the most valuable one after Tefebaşı.
