Sweden-based international clothing chain H&M reopened in Moscow on Tuesday to sell out-of-stock items. Queues formed in front of the H&M store in Aviapark Shopping Center in Moscow.
The H&M store, which was opened in Russia in 2009, stopped its activities in the country after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The company said in a statement that its stores would be closed permanently. H&M stores in 65 cities in Russia are expected to reopen to sell out-of-stock products.
