The Israeli army announced that they shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that entered its airspace from Lebanon. In the statement made by the Israeli army, it was stated that Israeli air control units detected and shot down a UAV “presumably belonging to Hezbollah” that took off from Lebanon. In a photo shared by the Israeli army, it was seen that the downed UAV was a professional camera “drone” for civilian use.

The Israeli army announced on July 2 that 3 UAVs sent to the exclusive economic zone near the Lebanese border were shot down. In a statement made by Lebanese Hezbollah after the incident, it was confirmed that UAVs launched an attack on the disputed sea area Karish between the two countries.
