After irma hurricane state governor Florida has ordered residents to leave their homes and to go to shelters. Governor has asked avoid the roads as Hurricane Irma approaches.
In the press brrifing Rick Scott said that it was too late to drive away from the danger areas.
According to latest information about 6.3 million people or more than 25% of the US state’s population, have been ordered to evacuate. The hurricane made landfall on the Sabana-Camaguey Archipelago, in Cuba’s north-east, late on Friday as a category five storm but has now weakened to a category three.
After moving along the northern Cuban coast it is heading out to sea to Florida.
